We (my wife, my three Labs, and myself), all love Volvos.
ReplyDeleteWe have a very solid red 1992 240 stationwagon we've had forever. We use it on our day trips to local state parks and lakes. Also, when we travel, to Vermont, we always try to get a Volvo station wagon from Hertz for safety on icy roads and snow.
PS- Our other car is a Saab 95, which means both our cars are Swede.

ReplyDeleteWe just recently sold our 2000 Saab 9-5 Aero and traded in for the XC70. I am a big fan of both Saab and Volvo and will most likely continue to purchase these pseudo Swedish brands. I think I want to pick up an older Saab 900, or we've talked about the older Volvo 240's. Either way, Saab and Volvo are solid cars built to last.
