A nice piece of nostalgia for an America that was-1947 and it looks like Brooklyn. World War II had just ended and the prosperity of the 50's was ahead for the Veterans lucky enough to return home. It was also the year the first homes in Levittown were made and the great American Exodus to the suburbs began. (Which sadly led to the Dodgers leaving Brooklyn a short ten years later.) And oh yeah, Sinatra was still skinny and you could catch him at Radio City Music Hall.
Where do you find these nice pictures
